How many bookshelves are required for Level 50 in Minecraft?
It requires 15 bookshelves to get to level 30 enchantment which is the highest you can reach without using any glitches or tricks because you can only have a maximum of three bookshelves on an Enchantment Table at one time. This means it would require a total of 45 bookshelves (15 on one, 15 on another and 15 on the third) to get to level 50 enchantment.
To get those really good enchantments like protection 4 or sharpness 5, enchantment tables aren’t going to work, what you need is either find an enchanted book with this enchantment in chests from structures or trade with librarian villagers to get any good book you want.
So how many bookshelves are required for level 50 enchantment? We must get to level 30 and use the bookshelf to make it higher. :
-1 Enchanting Table (Level I): This table allows you to enchant tools, armor, and books. The higher the enchantment level, the more enchanted books are required.
-3 Enchantment Table (Level II): This table allows you to enchant tools, armor, and books twice as fast as an Enchantment Table (Level I). The higher the enchantment level, the more enchanted books are required.
-4 Enchantment Table (Level III): This table allows you to enchant tools, armor, and books three times as fast as an Enchantment Table (Level II). The higher the enchantment level, the more enchanted books are required.
How many bookshelves do you need for Level 30?

Do you need silk touch to mine an Enchantment table?
No, but it helps. When you mine an enchantment table you get one book at random, without silk touch. With a silk touch, you will actually get the book required for enchanting items.
What happens when you drop a single item on the ground?
When you drop a single item on the ground in Minecraft it will stay there until somebody picks it up. It is possible to drop items in other ways than just simply dropping them.
The most popular way is to throw an item. Throw an item by right-clicking on it in your hand. If you hold shift when clicking it will throw the item to the ground. It works the same way when right-clicking in creative mode.
Some creative servers actually allow you to throw mobs! If you right-click on a mob in your hand it will travel in its direction (if it can do that). It is not possible to throw items in survival mode.
There are also other ways to drop items in creative or survival mode. You can for example use an ender pearl to teleport. When you do this the item in your hand will drop where you teleported.
If you hold a shift when teleporting it will drop where you are looking. You can also fly in creative mode and the items in your hand will drop if you fly. You can even make an item drop without dropping it, to do this place the item in a chest and right-click the chest. The item will drop to the ground.
Does smite work on the wither?
Yes, but there are caveats.
The wither will never attack you directly, so if you have enough space to do so without being damaged, you can just smite it in the head. However, this is made much harder when the wither starts to fly, because that’s when it will start attacking you. The best way to do it then would be to get a water bucket and a diamond block, stand behind the diamond block so the wither can’t attack you, and spam-click the water block to put out the fire trail that the wither uses.
Unlike some other bosses, the wither can be harmed by shooting at it from a distance with any gun. It is also susceptible to melee attacks from 3rd party mobs, just like normal hostile mobs.
How many bookshelves do you need for silk touch?
As of Minecraft version 1.6, you need 6 bookshelves to get the Silk Touch enchantment. Before that release, it was possible to get the enchantment from 4 bookshelves. That said, you were required to add a few additional bookshelves in order to add them yourself to an existing pickaxe.
If you are looking for the enchantment that allows mobs to drop blocks when killed, you are in the wrong place. That enchantment is “Looting” and requires 9 bookshelves, not Silk Touch.
You don’t really need the enchanted pickaxes, but they are nice to have. Here’s a description of what each one does:
Silk Touch allows you to gather blocks that are normally unobtainable, including the bedrock below every village. Also, any blocks that you would break by hand become drops instead of dusts.
Unbreaking increases the durability of your tools. The more times it is enchanted, the longer they last. Eventually, you will start getting multiple uses per tool.
Looting allows your mobs to drop loot twice when you kill them. For example, if it used to drop 3 bones, it will now drop 6.
Fortune allows mobs to drop more valuable items when they are killed by you or your pets/party members. For example, if you kill a chicken with it equipped, the chicken will drop at least one feather instead of just bones.
Power allows you to mine faster with your pickaxes. It is the only one that changes the speed at which you dig.
Punch allows you to harvest blocks faster than you would normally. It is the only enchantment that does not use the mining speed of your pickaxe as a base.
